Office of Career Success Coaching Policy:

Appointments Required:
Students must make an appointment with a career coach in order to have a resume reviewed or any means of career support. Due to high volume, requests submitted by email will not be accepted. Appointments can be conducted in person or remotely. Our coaches are experienced at navigating the job market and are valuable resources in achieving your career goals. You will receive more detailed guidance and a personalized approach to your search in the context of a full appointment.

Being Late to an Appointment:
To minimize disruption for fellow students, if you arrive less than 15-minutes late, your appointment will be reduced by the number of minutes you arrive late. Appointments cannot be extended and will end at the originally scheduled time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, it will be recorded as a “no show” in your office record, and you will have to reschedule.

Appointment No-Shows & Cancellations:
The Office of Career Success takes its mission seriously – to provide you with the tools, training and resources you need to successfully manage your career development journey. If you are unable to make a scheduled appointment, we ask that you notify the person you are meeting with within 24 hours as a professional courtesy. This will also ensure your colleagues can still take advantage of the opportunity to meet with a coach during periods of high recruiting volume. When you miss an appointment without contacting the office, a notation will be made in your office record and repeated “no-shows” (2 or more) will jeopardize your ability to schedule future appointments.
